Patient Visiting Program
Our Visitor program offers person-to-person support to people who are undergoing ostomy or related surgery. Visitors help patients and their famiy members adjust to this life-saving surgery and achieve optimal physical, emotional, and social rehabilitation.
A Visitor is an experienced and well-adjusted ostomate or family member who has received training to visit with ostomy or diversion patients and their loved ones and answer questions about living with an ostomy. Visitors maintain membership in our local support group. All Visitors comply with HIPPA Privacy Rules.
Visits can be made during the hospital stay, in the home, in another convenient location, or on the telephone. Follow-up visits are made if requested. To schedule a visit, please contact us.
